Crypto videos tend to shout. Loud gradients, aggressive typography, every screen fighting for attention. ether.fi wanted the opposite. This one also came through Bone, and the brief was built around a simple human idea rather than a feature list: sending money should feel effortless, whatever currency you're holding and whatever country you're sending it to. So the visual language stayed quiet on purpose. Warm gold against near-black. A world map with soft dotted lines connecting real people across continents.
Currency and crypto icons that appear and dissolve without ever crowding the frame. My job was the motion underneath all of that restraint, how the map lines draw themselves in, how each icon settles instead of snapping, how the interface glows just enough to guide the eye without shouting for it. In fintech and crypto work, the instinct is always to add more, prove more, say more. This one earns trust by saying less, and letting the confidence sit in the pacing instead of the noise.
